Sugar and Sweeteners

Sugar is the mother of all ailments. Our ancestors, who did
not have this white poison, did not have nearly one hundredth of our daily
growing list of new diseases. Almost always, once I take a chronically ill
patient off sugar, the patient begins to feel well in a few days.
Sugar's danger stems from the fact that it creeps slowly
into the user’s body under the disguise of its sweet taste. In the meanwhile
it fortifies its roots deep in the body especially in the pancreas, liver
and the lymphatic system. Eventually, it gains full control of these three
organs. Once these organs fall into the sweet trap, the patient will
struggle with an endless list of diseases without knowing the real cause.

mouth and the mouth of our loved ones.
Some patients question me about synthetic sweeteners
consumption. These sweeteners are chemicals and are even worse than regular
sugars. I am not talking about natural fruits or their sugars.
One important point to remember is that one teaspoon of
sugar depresses the immune system for 2 hours.
So, for example, a can of pop, which contains 12 spoons of
sugar will depress the immune system for 24 hours - a whole day!
During my lectures on digestive tracts, allergies and
asthma, I question the audience about the nature of sugar. I ask whether it
is a food or a drug. Almost always the audience is split 50%-50% on the
question. Some swear that it is a nutritious food. Others say that it would
not be sold in the market if sugar caused any sickness! Nothing could be
more pathetically untrue.
Sugar is the most devastating chemical that we put in our
mouth and the mouth of our loved ones. Sugar contradicts the principles of
natural treatments, therefore almost all patients are asked to come off
sugar. This is even more true for those who have Candida, Eczema, Weight
problem, recurrent Infections, Asthma, Ear Aches, Hyperactivity and
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), etc.

Sugar, the lucrative substance that we call our loved ones
after, is the substance that we should avoid the most. While it stimulates
our taste buds and makes some of us drool for it, our body extracts no
vitamins, minerals or enzymes from it. On the contrary, instead of giving
some nutrients like other foods would do, sugar actually negatively affects
the body in the following manner:
- Depresses the immune system, so that one teaspoon of sugar
would depress the immune system for two hours. A can of pop would depress
the immune system and expose the body to infection for twenty-four hours;
- Depletes Calcium and consequently Magnesium from the body;
- High insulin demand;
- High enzymes demand;
- Allergic reactions;
- Hyperactivity and
- Fatigue.
